The Applied Methodology
In a world as challenging as ours , where people are the only actual fuel of all operations, there is always a need for a structured approach which brings together the dynamism of people and the vision of excellence.
A live and structured approach which truly brings about the best in people and organization.
The Cybernetic Theory of Learning (CTL) is our prime framework of all applied methodology for all our training programs. CTL brings together Behaviourism, Cognitivism and Constructivism which serves as a broad spectrum source of result driven learning and application.
Even though Cybernetics as a discipline has its roots in the concept of natural order of self- governance, which is closely linked to the principles of the most basic adult learning methodology, it did extend itself into the field of computer science, engineering and neurosciences with feedback and control as the evolutionary factors of an environment and its constituents.
With the amount of translation of Cybernetics into various research subjects, it has evolved itself as a principle applied methodology… and it is this that we recommend when identifying and designing learning solutions.
At Baltis L&D we bring together 4 different forms of the theory in a unique way , namely :
- Managerial Cybernetics (MC) – Helps the integration of operative management and organizational dynamics into our learning solutions. The central idea of MC is to make all stipulations a part of our plan and then strategize optimum performance. This approach helps the people we work with simplify their complex environment and achieve genuine sense of responsibility towards the ‘given’ aspect of things
- Educational Cybernetics (EC) – This branch enables us to develop discovery & research based learning solutions where the participants recognize on their own, details, principles and ideas about their environment which they otherwise fail to observe and internalize. Through EC we develop solutions which bring about the much needed synergy between people and their surroundings
- Socio Cybernetics (SC) – Is concerned with inclusion of influences from our social surroundings. Through our training programs we ensure that the idea of cooperative behaviour is deeply understood and intelligently applied
- Anthropocybernetics (AC) – Is a branch concerned with human influence and its regulation. Though our learning programs we carefully drive home the point that what we do has influence and implications over many aspects of our life and surroundings
This blended approach not only helps learners become aware of the manifold influences we absorb and cast but also how one can carefully make constructive inputs and improvements.
